Nigeria is at a critical juncture, balancing economic reforms with a volatile political landscape. The recent state of emergency in Rivers State, suspending Governor Fubara, raises concerns about the rule of law and economic stability.

President Tinubu’s actions are unconstitutional and set a worrying trend of executive overreach. While some reforms, like fuel subsidy removal, are necessary, their success depends on political stability and adherence to the rule of law.
